Only images that are not labeled with "private commission" may be used. If you want to display my work on your webpage, I require several things:

* First and foremost - Email me asking permission. I will require to know what my work will be used for, and ask for the url.
* My image must remain unaltered in color, however if you wish to decrease the size, the image must remain in proportion to the original. Do not crop or trim please!
* My signature cannot be removed or cropped off from the image.
* My name and link to gallery must be provided, preferably somewhere close to the artwork.
* Please also do not link directly to my work on my webpage! It steals my bandwidth and makes me grumpy. Use the right click function, save as, then upload the image to your site.

Generally, if people email me and asking permission, I'm much nicer about letting people use my work. However if I see my work on other's webpages without proper credits, I will be asking you to remove it.

Tubes: No. Plain and simple.

One of my biggest complaints I have against the majority of tubing communities is their lack of respect towards the artists work they use. Half the time the original creator has no clue their art is being swiped, mangled, then claimed by the tuber as if they created that artwork themselves. They then proceed to repost that work, allowing countless individuals free access to the artists work. Even worse, some go so far to sell that matieral on CDs; effectively stealing business from the original creator. None of my artwork is considered "clipart" nor is it considered "fair use". Please do not take any of this work for tubes!

Copyright infringement makes baby Jesus cry. And everytime Jesus cries an angel falls from heaven. So just don't do it. :-(

Avatars: I have made some avatars from a collection of my art and uploaded them to a site called AllAvatars. If that link does not immediately pop up all my stuff, do a search for melihitchcock and it will pop up a list of art I made into avatars. If you wanted a piece to use off my website that you cannot find on AllAvatars, please send me an email inquiring to the particular piece you are interested in.
